WHAT DO YOU DO THAT IS SO SPECIAL?
I’m the coolest, chill, down to earth, around the way girl you will ever meet…… I’m a hard worker, have strong values and ethics. My integrity – very important to me. I’m smart, witty, funny…. and always get the job done. That’s why people keep hiring me! i’m trust worthy. My art is very special – what is my art? my music, my poetry, my theater, my films… the stories i want to tell…the stories from where i grew up… i’m the next generation…i need to tell these stories because if i don’t someone else who don’t even LIVE on my block or ever VISITED my block will end up writing about it. Making millions and making a huge blockbuster about it ! and that’s BULLSH*T… I’ve seen to many movies, tv shows, music videos about the BRONX, NYC.. all of it.. and it’s just wack! that’s not where i come from! it’s much more complicated than that….i wanna talk about those complicated things… i want to educate young latinos/latinas about Piri Thomas (Reading his book changed the course of my life! pick it up if you can Down These Mean Streets) The way in the future, i hope people will know about PattyDukes… and maybe one day a young person can say – Yeah yo! PattyDukes’ album changed my life! … that’s powerful.

Tomorrow… and if not Tomorrow, then the day after that… but sooner rather than later… It’s going to happen, if it’s ment to happen… and dammit.. it’s ment to happen! my daddy told me so!
WHY SHOULD ANYONE CARE?
You should care, because i’ll rob you if you don’t care. I’m the poor kid in the corner that is looking for a job, an opportunity… if he/she has nothing to do.. you betta lock your sh*t up.. because i’m coming to get mines one way or another… It’s human nature to be tired of abuse, power, and poverty… after a while… you can’t take it any more… So we already had the Malcolm X’s, Martin Luther King Jr’s, the Huey Newton’s, the Rosa Parks’, the Lolita Lebron’s, the che’s …. the Tupac Shakur’s, the public enemies,… it’s time for some new blood. it’s time for a change… everyone lives in one world.. and if you think you ain’t a part of it and what happens to it, you got another thing coming. One way or another the world is gonna show you, where you belong. I care about human rights, i care about being happy, i care about hip-hop, i care about the poor.. .whether your white or black… I care too much that’s the problem!!! If you don’t care, then get out my way…. i don’t have time. There are too many evil-doers in the world… and they never – NEVER take a day off.. Why should i?
